Hey there! Welcome. Glad you stopped by.
If you are curious about Nourish Training and how it is different than other wellness programs, read on!
When I was diagnosed with Large Granular Leukemia about 8 years ago, I was taken aback. I felt lost, especially since I had never heard of it before. I needed to feel some sort of control over the situation. I wanted to do something—anything, really—that would make me feel like I was nourishing and healing my body.
I began researching, reading, and listening to podcasts. I devoured anything I could get my hands on that had anything to do with healing. A whole new world opened up to me.
I began to implement some of the practices I was learning about. I changed my diet, which I had considered fairly healthy to begin with. I began juicing daily. I ate my weight in vegetables. I started brewing my own kombucha.
As I was learning the powerful effect of good nutrition on the body, I noticed that other habits kept popping up in my reading. I began to learn the connection between the mind and the body. I gradually stopped my negative self-talk and began practicing mindfulness and meditation.
I tried yoga for the first time and got certified to teach it. (I am the least flexible yoga instructor you will ever meet, btw. 😂) I still challenge my body in more strenuous ways, like high intensity interval training, lifting weights and running, but I have realized yoga is a piece of the puzzle I was missing.
I wish that I could tell you that all of my efforts cured me, but it hasn’t happened like that. Here is what has happened: I am the healthiest sick person around. I have no symptoms and I rarely even get a cold. I do not take any medicine. I am in the best shape of my life at 53 years of age. I am the happiest I have ever been. I am grateful.
I have learned the power of good nutrition, daily movement, habit building/breaking, mindfulness, and mindset. I would like to share “all the things” with you. Drop me a note if you would like to work together—one-on-one or in one of my online group projects.
